The purpose of the Class A Driver is to safely and efficiently operate commercial motor vehicle in urban, suburban, and rural areas to transport freight. This position is an over the road regional position with the possibility of delivering to a wide variety of locations in the U.S. The position may require loading and unloading food products to charitable feeding partners and programs. All responsibilities and duties will further Gleaners mission to be a leader in the fight against hunger.Experience in Operating

- Load orders on trailer for delivery when necessary (must be able to operate forklift and electric pa
- Make direct deliveries of product to distribution sites and agencies as scheduled
- Pick up food donations from donor companies
- Provides superior customer service internally and externally
- Comply with DOT, food safety, company policies, federal, state and local regulations
- Operate 53’ trailers or straight trucks with refrigeration units.
- Safe operation of equipment and on-time deliveries/pick-ups
- Valid driver's license/Clean driving record /3 years of driving experience/Must be insurable by comp
