Requirements
- Secure and transport flatbed and oversized loads (wide, long, and heavy freight)
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate driving logs, routes, and delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Manage necessary permits and coordinate with escort drivers when required
- Transport structural steel products, including bridge girders, to regional destinations
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Experienced in transporting oversize loads, including wide, long, and heavy freight
- Proficient in operating steerable trailers for complex and oversized hauls
Pay and Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $30 (Loading and Unloading Time Included)
- Mileage Pay: $0.60 CPM (for trips over 100 miles)
