The CDL-A Over-the-Road Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of 53 dry van freight across regional and interstate routes in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Drivers must operate commercial motor vehicles safely while adhering to all federal, state, and company safety standards.Experience in Operating

Requirements
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in interstate commerce.
- Transport freight over long distances while complying with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct and document pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and driver logs in compliance.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported according to DOT cargo securement regulations.
- Follow all applicable federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety standards.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, injuries, or violations immediately.
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Maintain all required driver qualification documents and certifications.
