Contract | Company Driver | Current as of Jun 5, 2025
We are a growing small family business seeking a contract to hire dependable and experienced drivers to join our team as we expand our operations across the state of Texas. Must be able to safely operate a 26 ft box truck with lift gate to transport freight to designated locations across Texas. Home daily but maybe required to work a weekend day based on load coverage. Contract to Full-Time Hire with Pay Range starting from $750/weekly.Must be in San Antonio, TX.
Experience in Operating
- Straight Truck
Requirements
- Valid Texas driver’s license and DOT Card; experience in route driving is a plus
- Clean driving record with no recent major violations
- Proven experience as a box truck driver with a strong understanding of loading and unloading
- Familiarity with operating box trucks with lift gate and using pallet jacks
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps for efficient route planning
- Ability to lift and move freight using lift gate and manual tools as needed
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
- A high school diploma or GED
- Communicate effectively
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining proper documentation
